Jimmy talks to kids at Del Rey Elementary in Victorville, CA about what happens when you fail at something. You try again (and again, and again) and never give up. This is Jimmy's Western States 100 "silver buckle" story (which as of 2013 remains an incomplete dream). This talk was a part of the Run It Forward tour (http://www.RunItForward.cc/)
*My apologies to Western State 100 purists, since my talk was for elementary school kids and I'm talking about failure and never giving up, I didn't want to confuse them with the BRONZE buckle vs the SILVER buckle, so I modified talk to say you get a buckle for only a sub-24, please forgive me. I also left out one more semi-redundant "I applied again and didn't get in" in case you were wondering why I said 7-years but only talk about "6 tries" to achieve my goal.
