Hangover:

• Hangover is usually experienced the morning after a night of heavy drinking

Causes:

• Hangover refers to the after effects of alcohol consumption

Symptoms to look for:

• Excessive urination, which leads to:
o Dehydration
o Headache
o Dry mouth
o Lethargy
• Reduction in the essential body fluids affects the brain and sensory functions causing:
• Lack of concentration
• Short temper
• Headache
• Extreme sensitivity to light and sound
• Depression and anxiety
• Alcohol irritates the stomach lining causing:
o Nausea
o Vomiting
o Flatulence
o Diarrhoea

Natural home remedy using coffee and lemon juice:

1. Take 1 cup black coffee
2. Add 4 tbsp lemon juice
3. Mix well
4. Drink for quick relief

Natural home remedy using bananas:

1. Consume 2 bananas
2. Soak the banana peels in water for 1 hr
3. Drink this water

Natural home remedy using ginger:

1. Chew ginger 2-3 times a day
2. This prevents nausea

Natural home remedy using apple:

1. Drink 3 glasses of water at bedtime
2. Drink 3 glasses of apple juice throughout the next day

Tips:

• Never consume alcohol on an empty stomach
• Do not drink alcohol too fast
