Comments:
This is Lee Matthews' very first narrative short film. He is hugely thankful to all cast and crew who supported him enormously. Nonetheless it's not a great film... But still, he has resisted the desire to re-edit it! Take a look if you dare!

I came out to my parents several years ago because I wanted to be honest with them but they cannot accept the fact that I am in love with a man. My partner is such a wonderful man, I know that it hurts him to know that my siblings husbands and girlfriends are welcome in to their home but he is not welcome just because he is a man. I wish that they would accept the fact that I have a stable and loving relationship with him.  It is sad that they are missing out on knowing what a wonderful man that he is.

BUSTED!! Mom's gonna go hyper sonic ballistic in a moment. When I told my mom, she didn't know how to respond. She said she kinda knew already, and asked me what do we do. I didn't know what to say, so told her I was on top. She goes like...... Oh , that's not so bad, that's OK then. She wanted to go to my gay bar once. My friends are trying to hug me, I go, stop, my mom's right over there. They go, what's she doing here, spying I think, I said. My mom's 6'1" tall and an excellent pool player. She's beating all the guys on the table, they're kissing her , hugging her, buying her drinks. She had a grear time. She goes, "I can't wait to tell all my friends that I went to a fag bar", I told her to say gay bar. LOL!

I really want a second part, even though I can pretty much infer as to what happens next...

Oh boy, hope mom brought some positive news because she already had a preview of what was going on with his son and the boyfriend and yet chose to proceed the visit...or maybe she proceeded because she wanted to confront his son...whatever happens next, i really don't like being left hanging...

Please tell me you aren't going to leave the film like this. Though the fact that it ends like this gives it an incomplete feeling, there is so much more to the story that the audience would love to have.
Matthewswood Entertainment
+Taken by Fandoms Yeah, we agree. So much more to say - we'd love to make it into a feature film but unfortunately haven't got the money to do that. Glad you liked it though.

I've had that happen to me. In fact, that's how my family found out about me. Only it wasn't my Mom, it was my Dad. OOPS!
