Daft Punk's "One More Time" is one of the best examples of how a cool dance tune can be made from scratch using samples. This video will show you how, using Ableton Live 6, you can create the song's main beat from the original track, called "More spell on you" by Eddie Johns. I'm really sorry for the low quality but I didn't manage to improve it. If anyone know any tip about recording the screen, please let me know. Please rate, comment and share on your blog if you like it.
PS (2014) I had already put this in a comment a couple of years ago, but the comment got lost in the comment stream... I did this video 5 years (!!) ago when I had only just started using Ableton. At that time I didn't even know the difference between the various Warp modes - thus I kept Beats (awful choice: the most obvious to be faithful to Daft Punk would have been Repitch). That is to say, if you comment saying "Dude you should use Repitch or Complex" you are talking to the 5 years ago's me, so unless you have a time machine, your comment will stay unheard.
