Training sessions at Euro 2012 are the only chance the teams have to work on tactics and setplays before their next game. So why do they spend so much time clowning about?

Arjen Robben has clearly tripped over the bottom lip that came out when he was taken off against the Germans, and landed on top of one of the Dutch coaches. It all makes for hilarious training ground horseplay....a view shared by absolutely none of his team mates.

Spain - At last we discover the secret of Spain's success. The dimunitive maestros are obviously all genetically-mutated 8 year olds, hence the love of playground tag. Then again, when you're as good as they are, what's the point of training properly? It's ring a ring a roses next.

Sweden - But it's not just the good teams who mess about at training, the Swedes do it too. Why bother to practise defending at set pieces when you can have a good old cuddle instead. They'll be giving each other a goodbye hug at Stockholm Airport in a couple of days.

Ireland - Extremely poorly exectuted and about to end in tears....not just Ireland's whole campaign but also this training exercise. It's Shay Given with the final touch, perhaps mistaking one of the coaches for Roy Keane. One of them had to hit the target eventually.
