The Coastal Steamer "Sanct Svithun" set sail from Trondheim on October 21st 1962, with 90 persons on board.

She would never again reach a port, after having made fatal errors in navigation. Lost at sea, the ship ran aground and sank in the late evening, bringing 42 persons down with her.

On October 21 2012, 50 years has passed since her sinking.

The ship featured in this short trailer is "Nordstjernen" - a ship still in service today, after 55 years in the same passenger service as "Sanct Svithun".
