Low-ranking Khmer Rouge cadre have their say in a massive video installation at the Bophana Audiovisual Resource Center in Phnom Penh. The "Voices of the Khmer Rouge" exhibit continuously displays interviews with 30 different people, a total of 43 hours of footage. Filmmakers Thomas Weber Carlsen and Jan Krogsgard began the project in 2002. Former members of the 1970s regime, men and women aged 38 to 70, many now living in pockets along the Thai border, give their reasons for joining the movement. And staying with it. VOA Khmer's Pich Samnang and Brian Calvert report.

It's all from foreign powers of the Cold War and Veitnam took the advantage of it. Innocent and unsuspected Cambodia was brought into the war by the Veit Cong and eventualy, and evidently invaded and controlled Camodia. Veit Nam, China, and the US had a major role in crime committed against the Cambodian people who died and suffered by the millions through out the entire conflict. Those that are being tried are only a scape goat as mentioned by Tomstered.
