Second video to demonstrate how to remove the switch top from a plate-mounted Cherry MX keyboard switch. This is only possible due to the special plate design.

You can't do this with regular plate-mounted commercially available mechanical keyboards from WASD, Filco, Leopold, Rosewill, Ducky. This is only possible with the custom designed Phantom keyboard as seen on geekhack.org and deskthority.net
