This song was too awesome to not have its own music video. Celebrating our history of spaceflight, and the accomplishments and achievements of the International Space Station and it's co-operating agencies, as well as a tribute to Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield. Hadfield has been making news lately because of his involvement with social media. He has chatted live with students of all ages, William Shatner and many others during his time in orbit. He is embracing one of the most effective communication tools of our generation and it's helping science communication by engaging the public with what life is like in orbit, and encouraging them to stop and realize that it's a remarkable achievement that we can all be proud of. PEOPLE LIVE IN SPACE. ALL THE TIME!
This video is a tribute, and utilized music from CBC (Hopefully they'll like it enough that I don't get in trouble for using it) as well as video clips primarily from NASA and CSA-ASC. All the music and video clips are freely available on Youtube and are used under a Fair Use framework. But don't sue me (I'm looking at you, CBC!), I just wanted to give tribute to this amazing machine, and the astronauts that live in it. It is my sincere hope that the agencies and astronauts will be able to see this video, and maybe they will like it too :)
