A preview of a very early version of Minecraft: Pi Edition. It's a port of Pocket Edition and has been in development for less than a week, so please excuse any glitches. This demo was performed on a standard 256MB Raspberry Pi with no overclocking.

The Pi Edition introduces the ability to use programming to influence the game world. I use Python in this video, but any language capable of communicating over the network would work.

I have updated my "minecraft" module for use with the official release of the game. You will need to place it in the mcpi directory and "import minecraft_basic" to use it.
