This is an amateur recording of the very last Bad Tour concert in Los Angeles in 1989. The first released version of the very first concert in Los Angeles in November of 1988 is in terrible quality, with ear-aching hiss. The five concerts in Los Angeles were rescheduled for January 1989 when Michael's vocal chords became swollen in November of 1988. Jackson donated more than £700,000 of the final concert's takings to an organisation fighting child cruelty, and donated the "Jackson 5 Medley" performance to Berry Gordy, the founder of Motown Records. The setlist changed slightly for the 1989 concerts, with some missing "Dirty Diana". After "Man in the Mirror" Michael and the band hug and congratulate each other as the 16 month, 123 date tour that comes to an end, then, an earthquake of magnitude 5.0 (Ritcher scale) struck the city, at 22:54 (PST).
