Can an F1 or Indy car produce enough down force to drive upside down? We used a 70lbs exact scale (40%) replica of an Indy car for this simple demonstration. Since these cars run at low ride heights we had to come up with a way that someone could visually see the car stick to the ceiling and not just look like it was held there. View the demonstration to see how we accomplished this. The car must produce more than its weight in down force to overcome gravity and stick to the ceiling. In this case the car must produce more than 70lbs of down force. See what happens...
