How to improve your interaction with LinuxCNC by adding a pendant controller. Three options are considered here including the VistaCNC P4-SE, ShuttleXpress, and a numeric keypad. Features of each are examined and each are used to zero on a part. These pendants also work with Mach3 and PathPilot.

Table of contents for the video:
6:32 - VistaCNC P4-SE
2:01 - ShuttleXpress
0:17 - Numeric keypad
0:00 - Introduction

All the problems that I mentioned in the video were fixed by VistaCNC within a day of the video's publication. That's great service!

If you do not like the default GotoZero behavior, simply modify the corresponding MDI_COMMAND in the LinuxCNC *.ini file. I changed my from "G0 X0 Y0 Z0" to "G0 G53 Z0"
