This Russian 'Lullaby' with traditional words is performed LIVE by the harpist Charlotte Poulter and sung in English by the singer Marianne Lihannah in Trellech Church in Wales 2015.

During the 'ISME World Conference helf' at Interlochen National Music Camp in 1966, Russian composer Dmitri Kabalevsky taught this song to Doreen Rao as a symbol of their friendship.
20 years later she made a new arrangement of 'Good Night' and she dedicated her arrangement of this beautiful folk song to the memory of Dimitri Kabalevsky, for his long commitment to music education of children around the world.
Something that the American choral director, Doreen Rao also feels the importance of very strongly.

All the best
