This is an example of filtered permeability in Swindon, UK. Cars are only allowed to use the street one-way, but bikes can go in either direction thanks to the bike lane up one side. It is a great location as it provides a route through to Old Town avoiding the very busy ring road (Bath Road). It also goes past a primary school and encourages children to cycle to school in safety. At least it did until Swindon Borough Council put parking space for 5 cars right across it, and now it is incredibly dangerous.
