Presentation 1 at the South Dakota Soil Health Challenge February 13, 2014 event in Mitchell, SD: "Using Cover Crops to Manage Your Herd of Soil Microorganisms" with Dr. Mike Lehman, USDA agricultural Research Service (ARS), Brookings, SD.
Background: In 2013, the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service entered into a cooperative agreement with the South Dakota No-Till Association, and iGrow/SDSU Extension for delivering the latest soil health and productivity technology to South Dakota farmers and ranchers.
A series of four local events were held in Sioux Falls, Watertown, Belle Fourche and Mitchell, SD. The Mitchell event was recorded.
