Here's a mini-finale of the 1987 Jerry Lewis Telethon. This was the time in the shows history since 1973 where the $1 dollar more goal was raised with over 90 to go in the telecast, allowing for a lot of fun, pride and pure entertainment.
I've included the $1 more tymp, a speech by Jerry, Sammy Davis Jr. opening the final hour, a touching moment when he's interrupted by a tympani, Bob Sampson's final few words that year and the last part of the duet that Jerry & Sammy sing to close the show. Jerry can't contain his thrill - watch!!
