Moral Monday protesters take their cause to Yancey County. Monday's rally in Burnsville was one of three across the state, with others held in Charlotte and Manteo. Hundreds of people cheered on speakers as they pointed the finger at Governor McCrory and republicans for what they say are cuts to education, health care and legislation they feel hurts people's ability to vote. Mike Orr is chairman of the local school board. He says there are points on both sides, but he is here to stand with educators in Yancey County. Signs give a clear message of what those attending Moral Monday want publicized. The goal is to keep momentum for the next 18 months, right up to elections and vote Republicans out.
