Beforehand we discovered a pattern and realized when you try to solve thew cube from that pattern, there are very few advantages. We decided to scramble all our cubes to that formation and see who could solve it the fastest.

For all the Rubik's Cube nerds who are interested in the formation, here's what to do: Solve the cube with all the edge pieces flipped. Once you're done with that, proceed with the moves that would normally give you the checkered pattern. That should do it.

With just a glance, it doesn't look very impressive. It just looks scrambled. But if you take the time and really look at it, many patterns will emerge within just this one formation!

Enjoy our competition!
