During Gen. Wesley Clark's speaking tour in support of his book 'Winning Modern Wars' he reveals a compelling story centered around his visits to the Pentagon just days after 9/11 when he was told that a war was being planned against Iraq, and later, that 7 nations in total, located in the Middle East and Northern Africa were being targeted for war and regime change. Clark then reaches further back to discuss plans Paul Wolfowitz shared with him circa 1991-1992 in the wake of the Soviet Union's collapse and the rise of the Wolfowitz Doctrine to capitalize on geopolitical opportunities to reassert U.S. superpower status and convert states towards U.S. hegemony.
