Two Steam specials both head North within 35 minutes of each other on the South Yorkshire line (via Sherburn in Elmet), just South of Colton junction and North of the village of Bolton Percy. Firstly GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 No 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe passes on the Scarborough Flyer, then LNER A4 Class 4-6-2 No 60019 Bittern (disguised as 4492 Dominion of New Zealand] and re-routed from the ECML on The Cathedrals Express. Another windy day as you can see.
