The hotel is in a truly wonderful location on the edge of the Gulf of Saint Tropez, secretly nestling in the Mediterranean coastline, a mere stone's throw away from a gorgeous fine sand beach and just a few minutes from Sainte-Maxime. As though in a dream, guests will discover that they are in Provence. Bordered by the Mediterranean to the south and the first peaks of the Alps to the north, Provence offers a multitude of remarkable landscapes boasting spellbinding colours. The towns of Port-Grimaud and Saint-Tropez are a short drive and Nice Cote DAzur Airport is 80 km away and Toulon Hyeres Airport is 54 km away. The high speed train station Saint Raphael is 25 km away.

Set in the very heart of the French Riviera and renovated in 2006, the hotel is one of the Cote d'Azurs foremost resorts with marinas lined with luxury yachts, designer boutiques and elegant bistros. The hotel, built in a very pure Provencal style, has lovely views over the sea and is itself in the middle of a botanical garden with a tropical feel. The laurel and orange trees combine with the palm and pine trees to create a remarkable blend of colours. The hotel is constructed like an amphitheatre around the heated outdoor pool. The 125 rooms open onto the terraces and gardens through big glass doors that allow an unusual amount of sunlight in. Guests will discover comfort and elegance in the lounge bar and the restaurant overlooking the garden. The hotel has a 24-hour reception, lift service, games room, TV lounge, air-conditioned restaurant, 10 conference rooms, Internet access, a kids club, bike cellar and a car park. Room and laundry services are available.

Rooms are modern and have a typically simple southern French design without sacrificing any of the comforts expected of a top end hotel. Most rooms have a balcony or a terrace overlooking the swimming pool, the sea, surrounded by the sub-tropical garden. All have en suite bathrooms with a hairdryer, a TV with satellite programmes, direct dial telephone, individually adjustable air conditioning and heating, a safe and a radio.

Inside the hotel, guests can take advantage of the fancy-shaped outdoor swimming pool and have a rest around the indoor pool. There are sun loungers, parasols and a snack bar. Massages are available for a fee. Guests can also use a gym and play volleyball, badminton, pool and French boules. Out on the coast, guests can choose to take it easy and pick a fashionable beach on the Bay of Pampelonne or a creek off the beaten track by walking along the custom men's path between Saint Tropez and La Croix Valmer or one of the wild, deep rocky inlets in Cassis. Provence is an ideal place for activities such as climbing up the Via Ferrata at the waters edge or in the Gorges du Verdon. Provence has more than 30 golf courses, each providing an oasis of greenery. Other activities include pony trekking and walking, mountain biking or, for something a bit quieter, bicycle touring.

Southern France is not just about sun and blue sky - its fine cuisine, mixing thyme, rosemary and bay leaves, is an integral part of the regions tradition. These meals, soaked in sunlight and combining tradition and new ideas, are served out on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool or in one of the air-conditioned rooms.

American Express, MasterCard and VISA are accepted.
