Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit launched a mega plantation drive under which 10 lakh saplings will be planted across the city within a span of one-and-half months in cooperation with NGOs, industry chambers, government agencies RWAs and citizens. The government had yesterday appointed a 15-member committee to coordinate and ensure success of the plantation programme. The committee will be chair-personed by the Environment Secretary (Delhi Govt.) Keshav Chandra who is speaking for a Delhi News Channel about Environment and GreenLeapDelhi Campaign.
