Steve Aoki is what I would called a seasoned veteran when it comes to the music industry. He has been around for years producing, writing and remixing as well as developing his own label Dim Mak Records. With huge hits like Turbulence, No Beef and one of my favorites his Kid Cudi pursuit of happiness remix he has definitely hit his stride and come to the forefront of EDM.
With his recent full length album release Wonderland he embarked on a huge tour entitled The DEADMEAT Tour with fellow DIm Mak artist Datsik. Halfway through the tour they were stopping at the famous Roseland Ballroom in NYC and we got the chance to sit down with him and have a little chat. We talked about where his head was at for the new album, who he would love to collaborate with and what someone can expect when they go to see a Steve Aoki show.
