The MicroKORG is a synth/vocoder featuring the same DSP engine that went into the Korg MS2000. It has dual oscillators, an eight-band vocoder, plus a nice selection of waveforms (including 64 from the Korg DW-8000).
Gearwire's Dan Agosto walks us through the features of this small-but-powerful virtual analog synth, starting with the simple stuff; ins and outs, what kind of mics to use with the vocoder, and more. When he gets into the deeper features, you'll see how to manipulate settings to add distortion, portamento, stereo panning, and more. See and hear the MicroKorg in action in our exclusive demo video.
