It’s been more than 10 years since Jaime Galvan died in police custody, at Chicago’s Homan Square detention centre.

And still, his family are no closer to knowing the truth about how he died. The official autopsy report states Galvan, who had been arrested for selling cocaine, had died after ingesting narcotics, but a separate, independent, autopsy found differing results.
