The Chicago Botanic Garden's Rebecca Tonietto gives you easy to follow step-by-step instructions on how to give native bees a hand by building a homemade nesting block or bee condo in your home landscape. Native bees are important to our environment because they are more efficient pollinators than honeybees. Join us on Saturday, June 4 as we celebrate World Environment Day at the Chicago Botanic Garden from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Garden scientists, ecologists and horticulturists will be on-hand to share their expertise through free and informal presentations, demonstrations and tours.
