Today's video is an unboxing of the following:

Altec Lansing VS2620 Desktop Designer Speakers

In most cases, computer speakers can go either way. Since each individual has very specific tastes in both music and speaker quality, quite often what one person views as high quality, the other may find has some obnoxious high frequency background whine.

This particular set of Altec Lansing speakers appealed to me because it was a very cost effective set that fulfilled the majority of standard music requirements. These are by no means a hardcore gamer set of speakers.

For those individuals who are looking for cost effective design appeal and great quality audio for music, these speakers are likely the way to go. The secondary reason for this purchase was the great reviews it received on Newegg.com - always a bonus.

Purchased Price: FREE on promotion (Normally $29.99 + shipping)
Manufacturer: Altec Lansing
Vendor: Newegg.com

First impressions, the box included everything you would expect with standard computer speakers including both speakers, connectors at the front for audio adjustment and a headphone jack as well as an AC adapter. I was astounded at the size of the speakers, the picture really should have a pencil next to them to help gauge size.
