http://www.autobytel.com/honda/civic/... The 2012 Honda Civic represents the 9th generation and this nameplate in one form or another has been on sale for 45 years! The Civic has been the top sales leader in the compact sedan segment for awhile and this newest car is pretty conservative. But the 2012 Honda Civic is meant to appeal and meet the needs of a broad variety of car buyers.

The base model 2012 Honda Civic retails for $15,605. All Honda Civics with the exception of the Civic Si, the CNG, and the Hybrid are powered by a 1.8 liter engine that makes 140 horsepower and 128 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy for the 2012 Honda Civic is 28 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway.

you can always get a heat block and connect it over night if its that bad. when i was a kid growing up in the snow no one gave a shit we drove. i would never tell someone that heating timing is a flaw. and it takes about 10-15 in my car. very normal for a 4 cylinder..

Jamia Mack it has bad cabin heat, engine doesnt warms up fast (take about 20-30 min of driving and on idle never ) if you stay in cold country stay away

That is so true Honda engines can give you even 400,000 miles like for real until others can prove better then I'll stick to Honda! Proud owner of a 2012 Honda Civic LX <3

Great review question with the Econ button how did you get the car to show green ?

Is this year has the same feeling of driving than 2008 civic or something different?
singe13
No, different generations. I drove both and owned both. 2012 model has much better and improved handling, alot smoother. The older generations had really tight suspensions and you could feel every bump on the road! However, both fun cars and great for daily commute.

Do they feel like driving a go cart like the older ones did?
