A virtual 14 minute tour of Veteran's Park Trails in Carlsbad, California. This open trail is relaxing and ideal for joggers and dog-walkers. I took my time to document all of the notable wild flora alongside the main dirt trails. Please help contribute by leaving comments on the plant species presented at particular time stamps in the video. Among the more familiar ones to me were the prickly pear cactus, a grapevine, and wild mustard, the champion invasive species that is now dominating Southern California. I had no idea that wild mustard could reach over 7 feet tall with its flower stalks until I got up close to observe some particularly robust plants.
