Hi-Rez Designs: Home Haunt - Part 1: The Cemetery - Los Angeles, CA - October 31st, 2010
After a year of no rain what-so-ever, Los Angeles had rain on and off for 3 week right up until Halloween. This prevented us from setting up our front yard cemetery until "THE DAY OF" Halloween 2010.
We had over 700 people come by to check out our shows, both the cemetery and the "pirate" show inside.
We "modeled" our cemetery to be very similar to that of the "Disney Haunted Mansion" so kids and Tots could enjoy it and not be "scared". We had hundreds of "adults" show up with no kids to watch the show as well.
The soundtrack is edited from the "Haunted Mansion" CD and runs about 20 minutes on 1 computer to synchronize the "singing pumpkins" and other sound effects throughout the cemetery.
This video was unfortunately shot with a "consumer" video camera that didn't handle low light very well. Also, all the footage was shot at 1am after the last "guest" left because it was next to impossible to shoot video with all the people visiting throughout the evening.
Be sure to check out Part 2: The Pirates that will be posted very soon.
Thanks for viewing.
