Two beings (half angel, half man) of immense power, battle to sustain their opposing convictions and desires. These desires being either the pursuit of self or the pursuit of maintaining the well-being of others. The result of each conviction bares the fate of the world and humanity itself in its outcome.

*The World of the Dam*
•In various cultural folklores there are tales about a great flood that destroyed the world, the earth cycle that occurs around The DAM tells the story before one such flood occurs.

•The earth is covered by a sphere of water much like the Ozone layer (Outter Dam), while the earth's core is a smaller sphere of water itself (Inner Dam).

•This canopy of water simulates a rainbow effect throughout the entire world. As sunlight passes through this ozone layer of water, light refracts and disperses at inconsistent rates thereby creating an environmental kaleidoscope like effect.

•The world is inhabited by both humans and Sephilim.

•Sephilim- a derogatory term for individuals who according to folkore are spiritual half breeds. They're believed to be part human and part angel. The Sephilim, however, believe that they're the result of genetic metamorphosis or DNA anomalies.

•Sephilim tend to be secluded by nature since they are considered a scourge by society.

•Sephilim are immensely strong, have exceptionally fast healing factors, age abnormally slow and can't be killed by conventional means. Because they can't permanently wound or kill each other they tend to be territorial and avoid conflict at all costs since it would basically be a moot point.

Epitaph 1 is based on the first 19 pages of the screenplay "The DAM" by Daveion Lashley.
