PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION FOR MORE FPS BOOTS TIPS !!!!!!!! In this video, I will be showing you how to increase Minecraft FPS(Frames Per Second) in Windows Vista and 7 and we will do it by stopping a windows process called Superfetch. What Superfetch does is it keeps some RAM aside for the programs you use most to start them up faster, but because it doesn't make much of a difference we can turn it off and it will help increase Minecraft FPS. Also, there are many other processes in this list that you can stop to help improve your computers performance and reduce CPU usage easily and here they are. I recommend reading the description of these in the services manager before disabling. Application Management Background Intelligent Transfer Service Base Filtering Engine Block Level Backup Engine Service Certificate Propagation COM+ Event System Computer Browser Diagnostic Policy Service Diagnostic System Host Distributed Link Tracking Client Fax Function Discovery Provider Host Function Discovery Resource Publication Human Interface Device Access IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) IP Helper IPSec Policy Agent KtmRm for Distributed Transaction Coordinator Messenger Sharing Folders USN Journal Reader Service Microsoft iSCSI Initiator Service Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider Net.Tcp Port Sharing Service Network Access Protection Agent Network List Service Network Location Awareness Offline Files Parental Controls PnP-X IP Bus Enumerator Portable Device Enumerator Service Print Spooler Program Compatibility Assistant Service Quality Windows Audio Video Experience ReadyBoost Remote Access Connection Manager Remote Registry Routing and Remote Access Secondary Logon Security Center Server Shell Hardware Detection SL UI Notification Service Smart Card Smart Card Removal Policy SNMP Trap SSDP Discovery Superfetch Tablet PC Input Service TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Telephony Terminal Services UPnP Device Host Volume Shadow Copy WebClient Windows Backup Windows Defender Windows Error Reporting Service Windows Firewall Windows Image Acquisition Windows Media Center Extender Service Windows Media Center Receiver Service Windows Media Center Scheduler Service Windows Media Center Service Launcher Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service Windows Search Windows Time WinHTTP WebProxy Auto-Discovery Service Virtual Disk Volume Shadow Copy Wired AutoConfig
Sorry about the way the processes have been written out :(
Also, for those who have the money to buy an extra stick of RAM, DO IT. This is because although Minecraft uses your graphics card, it uses RAM more and so even if you had the best graphics card out there, having 3GB or more of RAM is necessary.
After these are all disabled and you are happy with the services that you have kept active, restart you computer and you should notice a difference in start up times and general CPU performance as a whole.
