In this video 1A Auto shows you how to replace the rear axle differential pinion seal. This video applies to the GMC Jimmy model years 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, and 94.

🔨 List of Tools Used in this 1AAuto.com How-To Video:

• Flat Blade Screwdriver
• Pry Bar
• 32mm Socket
• Ratchet
• 7/16 Inch Wrench
• Chisel
• Hammer

🔧 Instructions:

1. Remove bolts from drive shaft 1:10
2. Mark driveshaft 1:58
3. Pull out drive shaft 2:15
4. Clean and mark pinion seal 2:43
5. Remove bolt from pinion 4:00
6. Remove and replace seal 4:18
7. Reassemble 5:30
8. Finish up 7:20
