This talk is a TEDx event, organized independently from the TED conferences.
In this inspiring and informative talk, Marta, the manager of an international firm and founder of the first professional network for lesbian women, reflects on what is happening today in the business world in regard to the sexual orientation of its leaders and workers, new corporate diversity strategies and policies, and how they relate to civil and human rights in various parts of the world. She asks if, in today's society, it is good business to come out of the closet.
Marta is the head of strategic consultation in an international firm, and holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration and Management as well as an MBA. At the beginning of 2014, she founded LesWorking, the first international professional network for lesbian women. Her project aims to bring together lesbian women on a professional level, so that they can support one another and increase their visibility within society and businesses.
