http://www.autobytel.com/jeep/wrangle... Jeep is considered to be the ultimate off-road going vehicle so it's no surprise that form takes a back seat to function, although this Wrangler still looks awesome. Many features and amenities are missing on this Jeep that can be found on similarly priced SUVs but that's ok because the Wrangler Unlimited is made for a specific car enthusiast. The base price for the Rubicon Model is $34,195.

It's very easy to love the 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, after all this is America's off-road sweetheart. What other vehicle sold here in the U.S. really hasn't changed much over the past 70 years? There is 7 decades of heritage in this Wrangler and over the years these vehicles have performed all types of tasks. This Wrangler Unlimited (4 doors) is the Rubicon Edition with the 10th Anniversary Package which tacks on another $5400 but adds all kinds of goodies like the Anvil paint color, 17" x 7.5" Rubicon 10TH Anniversary RD wheels, LT265/70R17E OWL On/Off Road tires, Leather Wrapped Shift Knob, MOPAR Rock Rails, MOPAR Slush Mats, Premium Black Sunrider Soft Top, Red Front & Rear Tow Hooks, Rubicon 10TH Anniversary Badge, Rubicon 10TH Anniversary Leather Seats, decals, accents, and steel front and rear bumpers. How often do you see a vehicle with real steel bumpers?

The 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon is powered by a 3.6 liter V-6 engine that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque. Transmission choices are a 5-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual. The Rock-Trac 4WD system has a NV241 Transfer Case and runs a low 4:1 gear ratio. The brake lock differential and Tru-Lok diffs can be electronically controlled.

On the inside this SUV has limited luxury potential. Instead the Wrangler is meaty since it's all about off-roading. Both the roof and the doors can be removed to expose you to more of the elements making this a great car to experience motoring fun. There is both a soft top and a hard top choice, the latter for those who live in colder climates. This Rubicon 10th Anniversary Model give you nice looking red leather seats and a whole host of chrome accents, badges, and logos.

The 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon is made for road conditions that are terrible including, snow, mud, ice, rain, and other places a normal vehicle cannot go. The Wrangler is a nice driving SUV but is more at home driving in the mud.
