Scientists from across the University of Michigan Medical School and the rest of the university capture incredible images while studying the inner workings of the body and the roots of disease. Through a program called BioArtography, they can share some of the most stunning images with the public, with the help of a jury of artists and the program's team in the Center for Organogenesis. They sell prints and cards of the images online and at the Ann Arbor Art Fairs, and the proceeds help young scientists travel to conferences to share their work and launch their careers.
