National Medal of Arts recipients: Edward Albee, Sarah Caldwell, Harry Callahan, Zelda Fichandler, Eduardo Guerrero, Lionel Hampton, Bella Lewitzky, Vera List, Robert Redford, Maurice Sendak, Stephen Sondheim, and the Boys Choir of Harlem.
