On Friday (October 11), famous luxury designer Giuseppe Zanotti and Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter Rico Love hosted the opening of the designer's first Atlanta-based boutique inside Phipps Plaza in Buckhead. The new location makes it the brand's fifth store in the U.S., in addition to locations in New York, Miami, Beverly Hills, and Las Vegas.
"We make shoes that [use] a lot of energy, Rico gave me a lot of energy and I think we have great synergy together," explained the revered designer about opening his new shop in the A. "I hope to have great success here with all the fans in Atlanta."
The exclusive event saw appearances from Atlanta staples like 2 Chainz, Ludacris, and Waka Flocka, as well as Kid Cudi and plenty more. "I'm very happy because I finally have the frame for this city, for my shoes and I have great friends and support here," Zanotti added.
Rapper 2 Chainz, who was among the many famous faces said, "For me it means [that] I don't have to order my stuff and go out of town to get it."
"Atlanta is growing, the fashion sense is growing and I'm honored to be invited to this situation," Chainz continued. The same feelings about Atlanta growing as a fashion-minded community came from Waka, who said, "It's real important to have Giuseppe here because Atlanta don't ever get like high-end fashion, like real adult looks."
