Nowadays Amira Abdi is the most invited dancer in Ukraine. Her performances can be seen in the most fashionable night clubs, hotels at luxurious parties and weddings She strarted dancing classical ballet and folklore dances when she was a child. Since she first visited her relatives in Algeria her life has become a full dedication to the refined art of oriental dance.
For a long period of time she took private classes with the most famous oriental choreographer Raqia Hassan and the founder of Egyptian National troupe -- Mahmoud Reda.
She also took part in workshops with Raqia Hassan, Amani of Lebanon, Farida Fahmi, Magdy El Leisy, Momo Kadous, Dalia, Jahan, Alaa Yusef, Randa Kamal, Camelia, Mona El Said, Khaled Mahmoud, Freiz, Zeina, Dandash, Dawlat Ebrahim, Leila of Cairo, Wafeek Kamal, Orit Maftsir, Nesrin, Tito, Liza Laziza, Hassan Khalil, Faruk Mustafa, Aida Nour, Kazzafi, Sami Khouri, Georgette Gebara, Francois Rahme, Аmir Thaleb, Princess Farhana, Аsmahan, Farida Seidi, Jillina, Samah el Dessouki, Doa Slem, Katia Eshta, Zaza Hassan, Dr. Mo Geddawy.

Despite her young age she has more than 10 years of teaching experience. While she is dancing since she was a child she has 15 years experience of stage performance.

In 2002 she founded the first oriental dance school in Kiev presently counting more than 300 students. Amira Abdi developed her own method of teaching oriental dance. Many of her students became successful award winning oriental dancers and teachers. She was the fisrt to organize oriental dance shows on big stage in Kiev, bringing on stage the most qualified musicians from National Philharmonic orchestra.
Amira Abdi Was a main choreographer, producer and organizer of the oriental dance shows in Kiev: "Arabian nights" (2004, 2005), "Window to the East" (2006), "The Jewel of Orient" (2007), "The Magic of Orient" (2008), "Dancing under the stars" (2009), "Oriental Night Fantasy" (2011)
She appeared in a number of newspapers and TV shows for First National Channel, and other Ukrainian channels such as TET, CТБ, 1+1, K1 .
Ukrainian magazine "Vsia nedelya" called her "the oriental artist dancing with the heart and not only with the belly"
