Located in Callaway, Florida USA, the Callaway Historical Society is an organization that preserves the heritage and history of the Bay County area within the refurbished Old School House and the two Callaway Museums.
CALLAWAY HISTORICAL SOCIETY The Callaway Historical Society Monthly Meetings are the 3rd Sunday of each month from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Old School House located at 522 Beulah Drive, Callaway, Florida 32404.
OPEN HOUSE An Open House of the Old School House and both Museums are from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM following the Monthly Meeting.
PRIVATE TOURS The Callaway Historical Society provides Private Tours to individuals or groups. 1 week notices are required for booking. Please call (850) 532-4840, MON-FRI, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM for reservations.
OCTOBER FESTIVAL The October Festival is held on the last SAT in October from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM and hosts fun for young and old as well as sponsoring an Open House of the Old School and Museums.
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS The last two weeks in December. Come see the lights and decorations, visit Santa, see a Firetruck, sing Christmas Carols and kids get candy.
STATUS The Callaway Historical Society is a non-profit organization. Donations from businesses and the public are appreciated. Donations are used for maintaining the school, museums and yearly events.
PRESIDENT John W. Piercy is the current president of the Callaway Historical Society. John is a 4th generation resident of Callaway, Bay County, Florida.
