40-year old point guard John Stockton took rookie Gilbert Arenas and the young Golden State Warriors back to school, scoring 26 points, dishing 9 assists and racking up 4 steals in a 109-101 Utah Jazz victory. Stockton scored his season-high on an efficient 7-11 shooting from the field and a perfect 12-12 from the free throw line. In typical John Stockton-style, he deferred to his teammates throughout most of the game but when Utah needed points, he became more aggressive -- scoring 16 of his 26 points in the 4th-quarter.

Stockton - who played 19 seasons with the Jazz - is a first-ballot Hall of Famer, a 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist, and the NBA's all-time leader in assists and steals.
