Ms. Chavez is hot.

After finding out what XSEED went through to get the sequel of this game out after four years. (Google "The curse of kiseki" if you want to know the details.) I have massive respect for Jessica Chavez for doing what she did to bring SC to western shores. I know most comments here are years old reflecting about FC when it first came out on PSP, but you guys should show more appreciation for Ms. Chavez for making the sequel possible all these years later...

Never seen a disgusting, criminal company quite like X.X.XSEED... Judging from their Facebook/Twitter feeds, it's like the inmates took over the asylum and are running the show, so you wonder how they're a functional company... Worse yet, they let Tom Lipschultz vindictively use it for his personal "Friends v. Enemies" list, dishing out punishment to his enemies (such as my case), and crediting rewards for friends for merely letting them borrow a SegaCD or download material from PC products... I wait patiently for the day they suffer the same fate as Working Designs, they honestly deserve it in every sense... Given how they criminally cheated me, exploited thousands of my past free IT work hours plus translation software, and then tried to evade remedying the situation when confrontation finally occurred, I was eventually forced to start a boycott against them and expose how they conduct "business" behind the scenes. I'm not the only one they burned bridges with, John Sears, the first translator for the Legend of Heroes, and Victor Ireland, are also people that fall into this camp... Wonder just how many more enemies they've made with their unprofessional behavior if one digs further... Anyway, I summarized the story of how they cheated me here for anyone interested: https://www.facebook.com/boycottxseed/posts/496140430505456

Haha, but you still gave it a respectful rating? There's a good man!

If I could give it a 10, I would (but that's being fanboyish). But yeah, it's a great adventure that harbors the heart and soul of a classic RPG.

Hmm.... An overall 8.5 you say? I can get behind that. I'll look into it when I clear my backlog of games I have now, though. Thanks for the info. I'm happy someone actually took the time to respond to me.

Second Chapter is being localized, everyone! And by Carpe "The Rumors of Our Death Have Been Greatly Exaggerated" Fulgur Team!

Wow... this looks like a quintessential Japanese RPG... with all of the good and bad that comes with it. I'm interested, but I want to know how good it is on a scale of 1 to 10. How god is the story, combat, and other stuff?
