Drawing together the artistic and scientific aspects of culture heritage, she has also integrated perspectives from the performing arts as an acclaimed exponent of Bharata Natyam, the classical dance form of southern India.

Prof. Sharada Srinivasan, is a Professor at National Institute of Advanced Studies and has made pioneering contributions to the study of archaeology and history of art from the perspective of exploring scientific applications in these disciplines. She has been innovatively bridging the divide between science and culture in her research.
