How to make a zebra cake the easy way!
4 large eggs, at room temperature
1 cup (250 g) granulated sugar
1 cup ( 250 ml) milk, at room temperature
1 cup ( 250 ml) vegetable or canola oil
1/3 teaspoon vanilla powder
2 cups ( 300 g) all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoons dark cocoa powder (Sherleys' tend to be bitter if you use it add about 1/4 cup of sugar)
Mix eggs & sugar. Add milk, oil & blend well. In a seperate bowl mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, & vanilla).
Slowly add it to the wet ingredients until all are combined.
Then divide the batter into 2 bowls & add the cocoa powder to one of them. place each batter in a zipbag. Cut the tip & start squeezing about 1 tbsp alternating both bags, till you're done. (Do this process as fast as you can) Bake in preheated oven (350 F) for about 30 to 40 min.
