Here is the "formula" for a phone number of any length that consists of exactly two parts. a = first part of phone number b = second part of phone number c = length of 'b' j = any number k = j - 1 w = (10 ^ c) * j x = 40 * j y = w / x ( ( xa + k ) * y + jb - ky ) / j Take for example, the phone number 555-1234: a = 555 b = 1234 c = 4 j = 2 k = 1 w = 20000 x = 80 y = 250 ( ( 80 * 555 + 1 ) * 250 + (2 * 1234) - 250 ) / 2 ( (44400 + 1) * 250 + 2468 - 250) / 2 (44401 * 250 + 2468 - 250) / 2 (11100250 + 2468 - 250) / 2 11102468 / 2 5551234 Whelp... there went way too much time that I'll never get back.

Are these people in the comments serious? Of course it's going to work, you literally gave them your number. "Type in your first 3 digits of your number"..."add the last 4 digits of your number"...there's no guessing involved.
