Leopards players Alex Schooley and Gavin Lovejoy point to the sky after a touchdown and are immediately flagged for it by the referee. The boys were pointing to the sky because they were saluting their friend who died in a car accident less than a week before.

The penalty gave their opponents great field position and eventually a game-winning field goal ruined the Leopards dreams of winning for their fallen friend. Alex Schooley caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from Chad Neff to give the Leopards a 26-24 lead. Gavin Lovejoy who had two touchdowns earlier also pointing to the sky. This was very similiar to the Ronnie Hastie story in Washington state high school football when he was penalized for taking a knee into the endzone, now pointing to the sky is a penalty.

Repost this if you think pointing to the sky should not be a penalty!
