Johnathon Williams' first collection of poems, The Road to Happiness, explores the disintegrating bonds of family and marriage in the hills of Southwest Arkansas. His poems and essays have appeared in Best New Poets 2009, Crab Orchard Review, and The Morning News, among other publications. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas and works as a web developer from his home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. According to Williams himself, he has deleted his Facebook account three different times, only to resurrect it a few weeks later. He has a minor panic attack each and every time he checks his email. As a writer and reader, all he wants to do is lock himself in a decent library and practice his blank verse until even his small talk flows in effortless iambic pentameter. Paradoxically, he spends 10 hours a day online, and can debug a web server faster than anyone you know.
