If your yard has hedges, bushes or trees, chances are you will need to prune for overgrowth or damaged limbs. Pruning helps alternate and rejuvenating a shrub, promote direct growth, getting rid of growth, promoting healthy growth and creating a particular shape for your shrubs. There are many ways to prune which are deadheading, shearing and thinning. Deadheading is removing dead flower heads or buds from smaller plants. Shearing is removing and shaping branches that hangover sidewalks and driveways or when you use an electric gas trimmer to shape a bush or hedge. Finally, thinning is a way to remove unwanted growth such as dead branches or hanging branches that can harm people. You can thin with many different types of cutting tools, but a chainsaw is typically the fastest and easiest to remove the growth. For more helpful information, visit http://www.Lowes.com/howto
