Microdata Files-INE-Spain

Statistical microdata files include –at the level of individuals- the information which is used to develop surveys and statistical operations, i.e., they provide much more accurate statistical data.
This information is anonymous in order to protect the statistical secrecy. It means that we cannot have access of any data that refers to individuals or specific entities.
Applying appropriate statistical techniques, microdata allows to conduct specific analyses of information or to create customized tables. If you want to use statistical microdata, you must know thoroughly the survey’s characteristics as well as its limitations.
